Welcome! I started this newsletter because I was collecting Customer Success (CS) leadership roles and sharing them with my friends in NYC. What happened next was pretty wild - those friends were getting interviews and even job offers at those companies! So I decided to share the opportunities more broadly, and VPCSNYC was born.

These are hand-picked jobs - when I can, I’ll share what I know about the companies and their teams. But overall, the top five are jobs I would apply to myself if I was looking for a new gig.

The Top 5

#1: VP, Customer Success, Greenhouse

This is probably the best VP-level CS opportunity in NYC right now. Greenhouse is easily the best ATS on the market today, and the company has raised more than $60 million in funding (Series C).

#2: Director, Customer Experience, Slice

I love what the team at Slice is doing. They are supporting local, independent pizzerias by making it easier to find and order from them online. Slice recently raised its $15 million Series B funding.

#3: VP, Customer Success & Implementation, LeagueApps

As a sports fan, this job caught my attention. LeagueApps powers local sports leagues, including registrations, standings, reports and online payments. This job description is one of the best I’ve seen lately.

#4: VP, Customer Experience, Pypestream

This is a CS role in a service-focused company, which is exciting. Pypestream is building out chatbots and other AI-driven service solutions for enterprise customers. If you are interested in the enterprise software space, this is a great opportunity to lead their CX function. Pypestream raised $15 million in its Series A funding early this year.

Carrot is the award-winning digital agency that VICE acquired in 2013 to become its in-house agency. This opportunity to lead its Client Services group looks like a chance to work with great, creative brands.
